How do I turn my Furby Connect On/Off?

Furby Connect does not have an on/off switch.  To make Furby fall asleep, place the sleep mask on Furby. He will stay asleep until the sleep mask is removed.

  • Push and hold down the anntennea for 5 seconds
  • Place Furby in quiet room and do not play with it.
  • Remove the batteries.

To wake Furby up: remove the sleep mask if FURBY has it on. Then pull the tail, move the antenna, or shake FURBY awake.

Furby Connect Cleaning Instructions

Gently brush your Furby's hair with a cloth or soft brush to loosen any dirt.  Then use a SLIGHTLY damp cloth to remove any stains.  DO NOT put in the washing machine, submerge in water or get Furby wet in any way other than using a slightly damp cloth. DO NOT use detergents or stain removers on the fur.

How do I install the batteries in my Furby Connect?

  1. Loosen 2 screws using a phillips or flat head screwdriver from the plastic base of Furby
  2. Remove the base
  3. Insert 4 AA alkaline batteries, Duracell recommended
  4. Replace base and tighten screws

Where are Furby Connect's Sensors?

Furby is sensitive to touch, motion, sound, & other Furbys.

 

Do I need to use my cellular data to play with the Furby Connect World app?

The Furby Connect World app does not require any data connection for most gameplay (wifi or cellular).

My Furby Connect App crashes, what can I do?

Try restarting the app. If it does not restart properly, try completely shutting down the app, then restart.

My Furby Connect App (iOS) crashes, what can I do?

Try restarting the app. If it does not restart properly, try completely shutting down the app, then restart. To do a hard shut down, follow the steps below as a guide:         

  1. Swipe up from the bottom of the screen
  2. When the open apps are displayed, scroll to Furby Connect App and swipe up to close the app.

My Furby Connect is not connected to the app

Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device. Check the icon in the top left corner of the app. If it is yellow, your Furby Connect toy is connected. If it is purple, click on the icon to connect your Furby Connect toy, follow the prompts in the app. If it's the first time you are connecting your Furby, it may need a firmware update so please be patient.
