How do I switch BABY ALIVE's language?
Some of our Baby Alive dolls have the option to switch languages. If your doll has this option, first make sure the doll is not in demo mode. Then press and hold the wrist or belly for 10 seconds to toggle between languages.
Is BABY ALIVE Food toxic?
BABY ALIVE doll food is non-toxic and made of food-grade ingredients. It is not intended to be eaten.
Can I use other doll foods with BABY ALIVE dolls?
Use only BABY ALIVE doll food mixes (sold separately); never feed the doll real food or other doll foods.
How can I prevent BABY ALIVE food from clogging the doll?
To prevent clogging, it is essential to rinse the doll clean immediately after each use. To clean doll after feeding, give the doll several bottles of water until any remaining food has been rinsed away and the water runs clear (it's best to do this over the sink). Tilt bottle from side to side to make sure you've rinsed away any food build-up in the corners of the doll's mouth. Use a soft cloth or paper towel to wipe away any remaining food. Allow doll to dry.
How do I make BABY ALIVE doll food?
- Add water up to the fill line in your doll's bowl (about 15 ml or 3 tsp of water).
- Open one packet of BABY ALIVE doll food and pour it into the bowl with water.
- Mix the doll food and water together. Doll food will thicken as it's stirred.
- Fill your doll's bottle with water for her to sip between spoonfuls of doll food.
- Be sure to feed your doll right after you've mixed up her doll food. Use the included spoon to feed your doll small amounts of doll food.
- After every few spoonfuls of doll food, give your doll a drink of water by pressing the bottle into her mouth. Gently squeeze the bottle to release water, giving her a few sips at a time.
Doll food cannot be stored; discard after use.
What should I do because my BABY ALIVE doll won't chew when we feed her, or give her the bottle?
If your Baby Alive doll is in the ""TRY ME"" mode, the mouth sensor will not activate.
Please check the switch on the doll's back and turn it to the ""ON"" position. Once the doll is ""ON"" and activated, place the bottle or the spoon in her mouth to activate the sensor. If the sensor does not appear to be working, press the spoon or bottle down onto her lower mouth to initiate feeding.

How can I clean my BABY ALIVE doll when I change the diaper?
- Remove diaper and wipe doll clean with a soft, damp cloth or paper towel.
- Put on a new diaper and fasten securely.
- ALWAYS change your doll's diaper and clean the doll after it eats and drinks.
- NEVER let your doll sit with a wet or soiled diaper.
- Discard used diapers; they cannot be washed or reused.
